Electoral commission brief Ghanaians on preparedness and readiness for the new voters register.






The chairperson of the electoral commission of Ghana has reiterated the commissions readiness to go ahead with the new voters registration tomorrow.

The electoral commission has not has it easy for sometime now because of law suits by the leading opposition party the NDC and some citizens sought for courts injunction of the exercise but was giving the go ahead with the exercise.

Though she admitted the country has not won the fight against the corona virus yet the commission has and will be working with both the health service and the covid 19 team which was established by the government.

Madam Jean Mensah also adviced Ghanaians who are eligible to register and adhere safety precautions by waring nose masks and washing of hands at the centers.

In a related development, the President His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo has also briefed the nation on governments readiness to support the exercise which will produce a register for the December 7 presidential and parliamentary elections.
